Oak Optometry is a private optometry practice in a growing area of Valencia. We have been open since June 2020 with the current/only optometrist being the owner Krista Roden. The practice caters particularly to families in the area, so we see many pediatric patients. We don’t bill medical, so therefore mostly do primary care. The schedule is lighter and we typically see 7-14 patients a day. Initially the doctor will be doing their own pretesting (AR, visual field screener, and optos). Our practice has one exam lane so there is only one doctor present at a time. We are looking for a candidate that has exceptional communication skills, is reliable, and is able to maintain composure under pressure. Looking for a personable & knowledgeable associate optometrist for our office in West Los Angeles, called West LA Optometry located inside LensCrafters! Technicians do all pretesting, and office has all new state of the art equipment - including Marco OPD-Scan III autorefractor / corneal topographer, Marco automated phoropter, and Daytona Optomap. The electronic health record used is Revolution. The position available is for a part-time or full-time doctor 1-4 days/week, (1 day must be Saturday, other days are flexible if interested in more than 1 day). Looking for a long term part or full time optometrist to work weekdays and Saturdays. Hours are from Weekdays 9:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 2:30pm.
