Claremont, California is an interesting town. We are very close to the mountains yet not that far from the beach. Getting to Pasadena and LA doesn't take that long either. It is a college town full of professors and engineers ( tough crowd!) but also we have many retirement centers and a lot of young people too. We are full scope, seeing many medically necessary contact lens patients, myopia management, glaucoma and LASIK / cataract case management. Claremont Optometry is 50+ years old and still growing. We are looking for an OD with good communication skills, energy and passion to start at 3 days per week to include most Saturdays leading to full time. Several years of experience in private practice and / or experience setting up a dry eye practice would be preferred. Exams are scheduled every 30 minutes except young people and multiple family members are at 20 minutes. Occasional emergency visits for red eyes, injuries, etc are worked in if necessary.
