The Los Angeles City College (LACC) Noncredit Adult and Continuing Education (NACE) Division is seeking a part-time Adjunct Optician Technician Instructor to teach in the Optician Technician Certificate Program. The instructor will foster a learning environment that supports students from diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Instructional Areas Include: Anatomy of the Eye Optical Theory Glassware Contact Lenses Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, inclusive instruction in accordance with approved course outlines. Develop supplementary materials and use instructional technologies for in-person and online formats. Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records in compliance with LACCD policies. Participate in faculty meetings, program development, and professional growth activities.
