Sierra View Medical Eye, Inc (SVME) was established in 1965. Our practice is staffed by 4 ophthalmologists and 2 optometrists with deep roots in Nevada County. Expanded in 2006, SVME offers a spacious office with 12 exam rooms, a complete optical dispensary, and a surgery center. We are proud to serve a diverse patient base in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and we are committed to providing top-notch eye care with a personal touch. Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive salary $180,000 with bonus opportunities based on performance increasing compensation to exceed $200,000, along with generous benefits including health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement plan, continuing education allowances, and malpractice insurance.

Job Requirements

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
California state license to practice optometry
Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
