Orthopedic PA - Ventura, CA

Join a collaborative, multi-specialty orthopedic group in beautiful coastal Southern California

We are seeking a motivated and capable Physician Assistant to join our dynamic orthopedic surgery group in Ventura, CA. Our team includes fellowship-trained subspecialists in joint replacement, foot & ankle, and hand surgery, offering a robust and varied clinical experience.

Position Highlights:

Mix of clinic (65%) and OR (35%) responsibilities
Work closely with orthopedic surgeons across multiple subspecialties
Involved in pre- and post-operative care, in-office procedures, and surgical first assist
Opportunity to work in a community-based teaching hospital alongside orthopedic residents
New graduates with a strong interest in orthopedics are encouraged to apply – mentorship provided
Work Schedule:

Flexible full-time schedule
Clinic days generally 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
OR days typically 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No call, weekends, or nights required
Optional opportunity to assist on additional surgical cases if desired
Compensation & Benefits:

Starting at $50/hour during onboarding phase
Increase to $60/hour once working independently (negotiable)
Performance-based, incremental raises
Health insurance covered directly, or equivalent stipend if opting for personal coverage
Malpractice coverage, CME allowance, and PTO included
