Seeking a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in hands-on patient care. Applicant must possess all appropriate licensure and certification requirements with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position will work under the supervision of 1 physician in an Internal Medicine practice setting. Will see 15-20 patients per day, depending on the day. Patient population is Family Practice.

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide total patient care under the supervision of a physician/healthcare provider
• Perform physical examinations and document preventative health measures
• Manage patient treatment plan
• Facilitate referrals, consultations, therapeutic services, etc.
• Assist physician during patient examinations
• Document patient chart and other documents as appropriate
• Orders diagnostic test relative to patient’s age-specific needs
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
• Assists with the provision of care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

Must be bilingual: Spanish
Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant program
Certification/Licensure:

NP or PA California State License for the field of practice
Furnishing License/ DEA
Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area preferred

Day shift: Monday - Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm

Work Location: Hawaiian Gardens
