Overview
Are you looking for a practice where you are exposed to a wide variety of ocular pathology in addition to refractive optometry with a friendly and supportive team? We are looking for a dedicated doctor with a passion for delivering excellent patient care to join a practice focused on patients, staff, and quality. We are happy that we are NOT owned by private equity, which allows us to provide greater stability, higher quality care to patients, and higher job satisfaction and growth potential for our doctors. Both part-time or full-time opportunities are available.
Location:
The main office is at the desirable location of Blacksburg, VA (home to Virginia Tech University).

The close association to Virginia Tech means that families have access to such things as top coaches for youth sports, enriching community events in the arts, and outreach programs in STEM. boating, and other outdoor activities due to its mountains, rivers and lakes. We enjoy four seasons with a mild winter and mostly sunny skies. Blacksburg and the surrounding areas are simply beautiful, and people have been moving to the area specially to retire given the good experiences they had at Virginia Tech earlier in their lives. Our office is spacious, newly renovated, and full of natural light to make our staff and patient experience more pleasant.
Equipment:
Our office has OCT, autorefractor, SLT, Argon and YAG lasers, visual fields, topography, fundus
cameras, A scan, Haag Streit slit lamps, and more. We are open to purchasing other equipment to help our doctors thrive.

mouth carries you far here. Currently, our doctor is a very busy fellowship-trained glaucoma specialistwho sees both glaucoma and comprehensive patients. Our doctor is highly regarded in the region for delivering quality care. As such we are looking for a team member with excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge base with a commitment to delivering best outcomes to our community and patients.
