Optometrist - Full-Time / Part-Time - OD/MD Practice - Las Cruces, NM

Eyes of the Southwest in beautiful Southern New Mexico is looking to hire an 
Optometrist on a full-time basis! We are open to part-time as well. We are a 
comprehensive and well-respected ophthalmology practice in Las Cruces, New 
Mexico.

What You’ll Need:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
- Interest in both medical and general optometry is a plus!
- Strong diagnostic and management skill and knowledge in ophthalmic 
practice
- Specialty lens fitting is a bonus! (But not required)

What You’ll Do:
- 80/20 mix of medical optometry and Vision Plans
- Perform comprehensive eye exams on patients
- Provide patient care related to contact lenses and the diagnosis and 
treatment of anterior segment disease.
- Manage common ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular 
degeneration, retinal disorders, diabetic eye problems, and ocular surface 
diseases.
- Participate in the co-management of surgical cataract patients by 
providing patient education, pre-operative considerations & evaluations, 
and post-operative care.

and over 1200 frames

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive compensation (for full-time OD) of $150k - $170k annual
