We are looking for a comprehensive optometrist who is motivated to strive for excellence in patient care. We are offering a competitive salary package of $45.00 - 50.00/hr (36-40 hr/week), health coverage options, vacation days, licensure and insurance coverage. This is primarily a medical ophthalmology practice with a growing optical clientele. We have a main office in Redding Ca and a satellite office in Weaverville, Ca. (a quaint mountain town 45 minutes away). Your time would be split between these two offices. The Redding office needs a comprehensive optometrist for private pay, medicare, VSP eye exams, contact lens exams, walk/call ins and post op coverage while developing your own clients. Weaverville is a newer office and you will be the primary eye provider for this town. This office will need your direct input to train the staff and develop a practice that is efficient and an environment that you can be proud of. To maintain these salaries and benefits I would expect you to see between 12- 15 patients a day. On the days with a full schedule you will have a ophthalmic tech to help achieve these goals.
