Garfield Health Center opened in 2004 to serve as a safety-net primary health care

provider for low-income and most vulnerable populations in the San Gabriel Valley. Our

mission is to provide comprehensive, culturally competent, quality primary health care 

to medically underserved and vulnerable individuals and families, including the Asian 

immigrant community, in San Gabriel Valley and Downtown Los Angeles area. Our 

goal is to care for patients in a “home away from home” atmosphere that cradles the 

warmth, sincerity and motherly attention.
