Job Summary: Seeking a full time Advanced Practice Professional, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, in primary care to join the Department of Family Medicine and be involved with both patient care and student instruction.
About The Medical Centers at Western University of Health Sciences: The Medical Centers at Western University of Health Sciences are a dynamic, thriving family medicine group in Southern California, having locations in both Pomona and Rancho Cucamonga. The practice is fully outpatient-based, and offers a modern facility with the use of electronic medical records. It affords opportunity for a broad scope of Family Medicine practice, including pediatrics, well women care (excluding obstetrical care), and geriatrics. In addition, providers are able perform minor procedures. After-hours telephone call coverage, while required, is minimal and rotates weekly among the providers.
Our Medical Center is affiliated with the osteopathic medical school at Western University of Health Sciences, and serves as a teaching Family Medicine clinical rotation facility for our third and fourth year students. As part of this group, providers are also responsible for contributing and shaping the students’ educational experience.
Qualifications: - Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
- California State License and Drug Enforcement Agency certificate
