Southland Opticians was established in 1980 by Berge Khanaikian, an Optician trained in Switzerland and Germany. He opened Southland at the current location in Studio City. John Macary succeeded him in 1982 as Master Optician and has continued to carry on the traditions of quality and craftmanship.  Dr. Rezah S. Mohamed has now established Southland as a full scope Optometric Practice, while maintaining the expertise and workmanship of a skilled optician.  Since 1980, Southland has developed a loyal following of entertainers, business leaders, and proud locals while upholding hte highest standards of quality, ethics and the best values in town.
