The OrthoMed Center is a comprehensive private orthopedic practice consisting of 4 subspecialty trained surgeons and 3 PAs in Modesto, California.  We are in immediate need of a physician assistant to work with our partner specializing in sports medicine and total joint arthroplasty, with emphasis on knee and shoulder pathology.
Practice responsibilities include office based clinics, surgical assisting, and hospital rounds. We also cover college and high school football, and minor league professional baseball. Our office utilizes EHR and PACS technology, and our practice is outcomes driven and patient oriented. The community has two primary hospitals and one surgical hospital at which we work, all offering state of the art technology to support our practice.
We prefer candidates who are self motivated with a desire to learn, good interpersonal communication and computer skills, and those who enjoy working  with inspired, like-minded people.  Salary and benefits are extremely competitive, and commensurate with level of experience. Must have completed an accredited PA training program, have NCCPA certification, and active California and DEA licenses.
Modesto is situated in the heart of the Central Valley of California, close to San Francisco, Sacramento, and the Sierra Nevada mountains.
