CEP America began utilizing physician assistants (PAs) and nurse practitioners (NPs) in 1985. Today more than 1,200 PAs and NPs deliver vital patient care in our departments and clinics across the country.

As a medical group owned and governed by physicians, we are dedicated to providing high quality care, and PAs and NPs are key to delivering that care. Our PAs and NPs work in a variety of settings with CEP America, including the main emergency department, Fast Track and Rapid Medical Evaluation (RME)® areas, as well as inpatient and ambulatory care settings.

Our success is based on physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to integrate across the Acute Care Continuum. The results culminate in shorter wait times, streamlined hospital throughput, and a positive patient experience.
