NOW HIRING – OPTICIAN
ClearVision Eye Centers in Las Vegas is looking for a part-time optician to work Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8:00 – 5:00.  This is a one-optician shop located inside Dr. Wong’s eye care office, on Rainbow Blvd in Las Vegas, NV.

Qualifications: 
The perfect candidate has at least 5 years of dispensing experience.  This position requires a large amount of autonomy and self-motivation.  Diligent record keeping skills and follow through are a must.  Excellent verbal & communication skills are required. 

Job Duties: 
The person who fills this position will be expected to fully manage and operate our optical department.  Duties include: inventory management, vendor ordering, staying current with popular fashions and patient requests, placing lens orders through a local lab, dispensing glasses and contact orders, frame adjustments and repairs, marketing promotions, and limited scheduling and front desk tasks.  This candidate will provide exceptional customer service with an outgoing and friendly personality.

Dr. Wong was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from Edward W. Clark High School Math & Science Magnet Program and attended the University of Nevada, Reno, receiving her undergraduate degree in Cell Biology. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Wong successfully completed externships at the Veterans Administration in Las Vegas, Health Clinic at Camp Pendleton, and the Optometric Center of Los Angeles before moving back to Las Vegas to practice. She is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and provides a full range of primary eye care services.
