James Liu MD is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our well-established team. The nurse practitioner/physician assistant will work collaboratively and interdependently with our medical staff in the evaluation and treatment plan of patients in the clinic/hospital. This is also a great opportunity to build clinical & leadership skills with a strong, knowledgeable medical team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- “Walk-in” patients whose problems require evaluation and treatment by a nurse practitioner or physician.
- Patients who need appointments when the cardiologist is not available or his/her schedule is fully booked.
- Follow-up visits for patients needing to be seen.
- Supervise treadmill studies.
- Assist with laboratory results review and make recommendations.
- Etc.
 

Job Requirements:
- Current ARNP/PA licensure in the state of California
- Valid DEA license strongly preferred.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.
- ACLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.
- Will consider new graduates.
