Job Description

Full scope patient care on a three doctor team at a well established, privately owned practice in Turlock's medical district. Optometrist will have a large support staff that are responsible for working up every patient, obtaining additional testing as ordered, performing contact lens patient training, scribing throughout examination, coding and billing every encounter, and optical management. Each optometrist works 4 weekdays and shares rotating after hours, on-call duty for urgent eye care needs. Although primarily family practice, Turlock Eyecare encourages each optometrist to pursue their individual interests and will facilitate the development of specialty care clinics, if desired.

Applicant Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry Degree
• CA Optometry License with TLG Certification
• Residency trained preferred – not required – new graduates welcome
• Extensive medical optometry knowledge and skill including:
  • Foreign body removal & trauma
  • Glaucoma
  • Diabetic eye disease
  • AMD
  • LASIK co-management
