Specs Optical was founded by a mother-daughter duo in Silicon Valley. Mom, Mary Chang, has over 30 years of optometry experience, spanning back to their time Taiwan. Daughter, Esther Chang, comes from a retail/business management background, graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). Our aunts and uncles are all in Taiwan and own and operate their own optometry practices, stores, and labs as well! One of our uncles was actually mom's optometry professor during her Optometry school days, too! You could say, we were born to do this! 

Our goal is to deliver the best possible experience to our customers, ensuring they walk away satisfied with their visit and happy with their new eyewear! We've recreated our new store for our customers to feel at home in our cozy store, because when you're here, you're family! With our in house lab, we personally quality control every frame before delivering it to our customers. Rest assured that your eye care needs are in good hands when you come visit us.
