About the Advanced Center for Eyecare and ACE Eyecare, Inc.
Alarming statistics show that approximately 42% of Kern County’s population, or roughly 2 in 5 people, do not have affordable access to quality eye care services. The Advanced Center for Eyecare (ACE), a subsidiary of ACE Eyecare, Inc., is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide these much-needed eye care services to underserved and uninsured children, adults and seniors in our community. As the only specialized eye care non-profit in Kern County, ACE’s team of optometrists and ophthalmologists is committed to reducing the number of people who are living with vision impairment. In 2018, ACE providers saw 20,409 patients, dispense 8,612 pairs of glasses and perform 523 sight-restoring surgeries.
