Six chair side assistants are trained to enter all data, do refractions, special testing, etc. Working closely together, you will evaluate the health of the eyes, verify the refractive and binocular status, then prescribe further testing, eyewear, medications, medical treatments, and surgical referrals.
Many of our patients have diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, high cholesterol, and a good number have glaucoma. Besides having typical medical equipment such as OCT, we make use of our VEP/ERG, aberrometer, Macuscope and infrared camera.
We have a Dry Eye Clinic with three rooms dedicated for treatment. Besides traditional therapies, we treat patients with MiboFlo heat massage, photobiomudulation, and radio-frequency (Cynosure).
