Job Title: Physician Assistant - Pain Management Clinic

Location: Anaheim, possible other satellite locations including Newport Beach.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at our pain management clinic. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care to patients suffering from various pain conditions, working closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, incorporating a combination of pharmacological, interventional, and non-pharmacological modalities.
• Perform procedures such as joint injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks under physician supervision.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide patient education on pain management strategies, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
• Document patient encounters accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• State licensure as a Physician Assistant in CA.
• Experience is not required, physician training will be available including on the management of pain conditions and the skills of performing common pain management procedures, such as injections and nerve blocks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and promoting positive patient outcomes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
